Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SmartPromptAgents collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform, websites, APIs, and embeddable widgets (the "Service").
- Account information — name, email, and password (stored hashed).
- Content you provide — agent instructions, prompts, inputs, and related data.
- Usage data — feature usage, agent executions, logs, and device/browser information.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications — messages you send us and, where enabled, leads captured by your widgets.
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To generate AI responses for your agents.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional messages (e.g., password resets, receipts, notifications).
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
To produce agent responses, the prompts and inputs you (or your widget's visitors) submit are sent to third-party AI providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic. These providers process the data to return a response under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service — e.g., hosting (Railway), payments (Stripe), AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic), and email delivery.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.
We use measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
